RNA sequencing of PANC-1 cells treated with conditioned media from FGFBP2 wild-type or mutant fibroblasts

This study investigates transcriptional responses of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells to fibroblast-derived conditioned media. PANC-1 cells were treated with conditioned media collected from fibroblasts expressing wild-type or mutant FGFBP2. Total RNA was extracted from treated PANC-1 cells and subjected to bulk RNA sequencing. Libraries were prepared using a poly(A) enrichment protocol and sequenced on an Illumina platform to generate paired-end reads. The resulting data were used to characterize gene expression changes associated with fibroblast tumor cell interactions.
