Datasets of "Effects of salinity gradients on the thermal tolerance of the estuarine amphipod <i>Melita palmata"</i> submitted to Journal of Thermal Biology

The dataset is composed of two separate files. The first named "CTmax dataset" describes the critical thermal maximum of male and female <i>Melita palmata</i> amphipods from three different sampling sites (with specific salinity levels: 15, 20, and 30). Additionally, it shows the dry weight (mg) and the total length (mm) of the same individuals. The second, named "Abiotic variables," indicates the environmental parameters (salinity, temperature, and pH) measured in situ during low, intermediate, and high tide throughout the three sampling sites and across seasons over one year.
