Figure 356 from Chapter 15 (Cytoplasmic Inclusions) of 'The Cell, 2nd Ed.' by Don W. Fawcett M.D. Lipid appears as spherical droplets in the cytosol, shown here in a Sertoli cell from the oppossum testis. In this preparation, staining of the lipid was intensified with osmium.
