Nitrate-rich diet effect on tongue microbiome of humans - Raw sequence reads

This study aims to understand the structural changes in the tongue microbiome of humans after 1-week long intervention with a nitrate-rich diet. Two groups are included in the study i) the treatment group and ii) the control group that did not receive any dietary intervention. The individuals tongue dorsum was sampled at baseline and after one week to determine the bacterial composition using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing.
