Mapping of Cf-12 gene

Cf-12 is an effective gene for resisting tomato leaf mold disease caused by Cladosporium fulvum [C. fulvum, syn. Passalora fulva]. The localization of the cf-12 gene has not been studied. In order to locate and clone cf-12 gene, we constructed a six-generation genetic population with cf-12 tomato and pennellii as parents, and located and screened cf-12 gene through parent resequencing and simplified sequencing, which is of great significance for guiding tomato breeding against leaf mold.
