This dataset contains TIF formatted images of handwritten 11 classes of Bengali vowels. Each class contains about 200 samples. About 200 students from the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Dhaka participated in this data collection, ensuring large variability in the pattern. Each sample is scanned at 72 dpi.
