资源简介:
Color patterns in angiosperm flowers are produced by spatially and temporally restricted deposition of pigments and clarifying the mechanisms responsible for the restricted pigment deposition is a topic of broad interest. Asiatic hybrid lilies (Lilium spp.) exhibit several types of anthocyanin color patterns and cultivar Lollypop develops bicolor tepals showing colored upper parts and white basal parts. In this study, global transcription was analyzed using colored and uncolored parts of Lollypop tepals to define the main transcriptomic profile differences between the two tepal parts.By using the Illumina platform, we obtained approximately 50 million RNA-seq reads for the two samples.
