IP4OS Best Practices Survey Dataset

This dataset contains anonymised survey responses collected via REDCap for a study on best practices in IP and OS research. The dataset includes fully de-identified responses and a data dictionary describing all variables and coding used in the survey. File Contents: - `K8IP4OS_Survey_Responses.csv` – De-identified survey responses in comma-separated format. - `K8IP4OSBestPracticesSurvey_DataDictionary_2025-06-23.csv` – REDCap data dictionary listing variable names, labels, field types, and coding schemes. - `README.txt` De-identification Measures Taken: The following steps were taken to protect participant anonymity: - All fields tagged as identifiers in the REDCap data dictionary were removed. - The `Record ID` field was hashed to prevent linkability. - Free-text fields not validated (e.g. open-ended text boxes) and essay-style fields were removed. - All date and datetime fields were removed. - Survey completion timestamps were also removed. - One variable (`follow_up_email`) that included identifiable information was manually removed.
