Research Data of the "Linguistic Landscape"-Project for Tarlabaşı (Beyoğlu/İstanbul)

The data set comprises pictures (1097 in jpeg-format) of numerous signs, posters, billboards etc. in Turkish, English, and multiple other languages, some of which are aimed at locals and others at tourists from Tarlabaşı, a neighborhood of Beyoğlu/Istanbul. The metadata is attached as a csv-table. The metadata fields are described in the explanatory texts (see related works).
