Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation and Open-Area Excavation at Biggin Lane, Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, February to March 2019

This collection consists of site images and records, a CAD drawing, and database and spreadsheet data from an archaeological evaluation and open-area excavation on land north of Biggin Lane, Ramsey, Cambridgeshire. The works were conducted by Oxford Archaeology East between February and March 2019. The investigation confirmed findings from earlier archaeological interventions, revealing the partial remains of a farmstead with broadly contemporary Middle Iron Age activity, with some evidence of later recutting during the Late Iron Age/Early Roman periods.
