THE ROLE OF INNOVATIONS IN MODERNIZING THE FOOD INDUSTRY IN UZBEKISTAN

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the role and importance of innovative technologies in the process of modernizing the food industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The aim of the research is to identify the prospects for using innovations in increasing the level of processing of agricultural raw materials, ensuring food safety, and expanding export potential. The article examines digitalization of the industry, biotechnologies, packaging innovations, and changes in logistics systems. Using the comparative analysis method, the experience of developed countries and the current state of Uzbekistan were compared. As a result, it was proven that the introduction of innovations increases product competitiveness and contributes to economic growth.
