Transposable element-associated short tandem repeats reveal architecture-specific drivers of instability and disease

Processed STR length, variance, and polymorphism data for 100 PacBio HiFi sequenced genomes from the Human Pangenome Reference Consortium. Genotype data was originally called with TRGT as described in Weisburd et al. 2026 (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42025159/). Data also includes transposable element related labels including element-, family-, subfamily-, and subregion-wise assignments according to repeatmasker and custom scripts for consensus sequence position assignments. Additional STR attributes including motif, base composition, period, and the number of detected motifs at a given locus are also provided.
