Edwardsiella tarda EIB202 Transcriptome or Gene expression

Edwardsiella piscicida (formerly E. tarda) is one of the most threatening fish pathogen. The type III and VI secretion systems (T3SS and T6SS) regulated by the two-component system EsrA-EsrB are two most important virulence determinants in E. tarda. Among the secreted proteins of T3SS and T6SS in E. tarda, EseG is one of the T3SS effector to be localized to the host membrane fraction after translocation. Studies on other secreted proteins are inadequate. In this subject, we performed RNA-Seq analysis on EIB202 and ?esrB mutant RNA isolated from LB and DMEM cultures to compare the transcription profiles and identify differentially expressed genes.
