Inventory-anchored 30 m late-successional and old-growth forest products with uncertainty for the Acadian and northern New England region, with companion manuscript

v2.3.0 (2026-06-27): manuscript-themed record. Finalized Northeast LSOG manuscript (V5) and SI and the updated Regional Technical Report; corrected state-clipped by-state inventory tables; supporting figures, methods, and code bundled. The Ecosphere Comment package is in the companion record (10.5281/zenodo.20614496). Per-state areas corrected for bounding-box overlap. v2.3.1 (2026-06-27): TreeMap any-LSOG now reported as a range across the 2016/2020/2022 imputation vintages and class-assignment conventions (manuscript text and Fig. 3 caption). v2.4.0 (2026-06-28): red-team corrections. Report tables renumbered, calibration wording softened, accessibility effect sizes and Figure 11 corrected (state-clipped), composition table re-clipped, "2 percent per year" loss attributed to Hagan et al. Access set to open. v2.4.1 (2026-06-28): independent-review corrections. Manuscript "stable to rising" softened to no significant change; Technical Report patch table refreshed to state-clipped values; inventory bundle curated to the canonical state-clipped tables (redundant and Maine-only partials removed). v2.5.0 (2026-06-28): Finalized regional Monte Carlo per-class product (New York now statewide). Conservation prioritization rebuilt as a multi-factor index: a weighted geometric mean of LSOG value, compound conversion threat (harvest AND natural disturbance, using the CONUS-HCS 240 m harvest-decision probability and the CONUS 30 m natural-disturbance probability; the earlier layer was natural disturbance, not harvest), protection gap (PAD-US 4.0), and carbon (GEDI L4B). Added a regional LSOG hotspot analysis (Getis-Ord Gi*). Refined Figure 1 to show the regional LSOG surface over the NLCD forest extent with fully cited documented old-growth sites (Table 2). Manuscript Figure 8 regenerated from the statewide Monte Carlo product. New products bundled in v2.5.0_products.zip.
