Simultaneous in-situ measurements of rain onboard R/V Alkor using an optical disdrometer ODM470 and a ship rain gauge SRG. Measurement interval of rain rates R is 1 minute. Only times with precipitation are given for May to October (rain only measurements). Top indicates the horizontal collector, side the lateral collector, drop is the number of drops formed by a drop former connected to a collector of the ship rain gauge.
