Data and R code for "Variation in a tropical vertebrate scavenger community associated with carrion size within an agricultural-forest matrix"

This repository contains the full dataset and complete R code associated with the manuscript: “Variation in a tropical vertebrate scavenger community associated with carrion size within an agricultural–forest matrix.”Data were collected from 60 experimentally deployed carcasses (two size classes) monitored with camera traps across forest and grassland habitats in the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. The dataset includes carcass metadata (size class, habitat, deployment details), species detections, scavenger activity and abundance metrics, detection times, and carcass persistence/removal times.All R scripts required to reproduce the entire analytical workflow are included. This material is provided to support peer review.
