资源简介:

These files present a description and results of several practical experiments some of which refute a century-old misconception about the nature of transmission lines and far-field radiation from wire antennas in general. VNA measurements of both two-conductor balanced and single-conductor lines are presented. It is shown that radiation occurs not from electrically long columns of accelerated charge but from discontinuities which accelerate such a collumn orthogonally to its direction. Construction details to create fixtures, measurement and analysis tools are included so that they may be easily replicated. Additionally, consideration is given as to the fundamental error of Coulomb's equation for force between charge and citations which support the error of singularities in describing any real theory. This extends to both classical physical theory as well as QED. A summary is that we do not understand radiation of any sort. We do not know what light is.
