Data for a publication "Superlubricity of Polyethylene Glycol Solutions: Running-in Effects, Thickness Changes, and Rheology"

The dataset contains raw data and their recalculation from tribological, rheological and topographical tests. This means that friction coefficient, film thickness, viscosity, density, surface roughness and other parameters are evaluated. It also includes contact angle measurements and video recording of changes in flow shape as velocity increases. There are also some theoretical calculations of the size of polyethylene glycol molecules. This dataset offers insight into lubricating film formation during running-in and speed variation, and their effects on frictional behavior.
