Average age of the bus fleet in Europe in 2021, by country

At around 20.2 years, Romania had the oldest bus fleet in Europe in 2021. More than half of the surveyed European countries had buses with an average age above 10 years in their fleets. Austria had the youngest bus fleet, with an average age of five years.
