This dataset contains the model code and input files for the sensitivity tests of the LTRANS-SABGOM Model runs presented in the paper: Testa, J.M., E.E. Adams, E.W. North, and R. He. 2016. Modeling the influence of deep water application of dispersants on the surface expression of oil: a sensitivity study. Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans. doi: 10.1002/2015JC011571. The folders with input files contain the code to generate the input files, as well as the input files themselves. These input files were used for all cases for a given dispersant treatment ("No Dispersant", "100 Percent Efficiency", and "50% Efficiency"). The folders for each scenario of hydrodynamics and dispersant application contain the control files for the runs that specify hydrodynamic conditions and input files. In the case of the 50% Efficiency case, there are two input files and two control files, as the dispersed and non-dispersed droplet were run separately, given that the interfacial tension (N/m) for the code is a single value determined by the control file. Code for LTRANS model, code for input file generation, and input files used to simulate oil droplet behavior in the Gulf of Mexico are included in the dataset.
