资源简介:
The purpose of this TRaC-M study was to assess whether the Seguro e Salvo nets sold at highly subsized prices at public sector clinics were in fact being used by the target project beneficiaries, namely pregnant women and children under-5. The malaria TRaC study conducted with the general population of Luanda in 2005 found that less than 1 in 5 children under 5 in households that owned a mosquito net actually slept under the net the previous night; typically, nets were used by the head of ho usehold. A random sample of 8 of the 37 current partner clinics was selected. Cluster sampling methodology was used to select a representative, random sample of 19 beneficiary households per selected clinic, stratified by bairro based on volume of net sales at the clinic project beneficiary households. 154 respondents were interviewed in their homes in March 2006.
