Former Stanley Potteries, Newport Lane, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent: Archaeological Evaluation (OASIS ID: oxfordar2-376305)

Oxford Archaeology (OA) North was commissioned by Seddon Construction Ltd to undertake an archaeological evaluation of the site of a proposed residential development on the site of the former Stanley Potteries, Newport Lane, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent (NGR SJ 86335 49455). The work was undertaken as a requirement of the Stoke-on-Trent City Council (SOTCC) Archaeologist, as advisor to the Local Planning Authority, in response to the submission of a Planning Application (planning ref: SOT/63494/DTS).
