ABS Nanocomposites for Advanced Technical and Biomedical Applications
收藏资源简介:
The dataset includes the measured data required for evaluating the mechanical properties of the primary ABS polymer and the nanofiller-reinforced ABS nanocomposites. Calcium nanocarbonate, halloysite nanotubes, and cellulose nanofibers were used as nanofillers in weight fractions of 0.125 w.%, 0.25 w.%, 0.5 w.%, and 1 w.%. The mechanical properties of the studied ABS nanocomposites were assessed through tensile tests (i.e., Young's modulus, yield stress, and elongation at maximum tensile force), Charpy pendulum impact tests (i.e., fracture toughness), vibration damping measurements (i.e., frequency dependence of displacement transmissibility), microhardness tests (i.e., indentation modulus, indentation creep, and indentation hardness), and Shore D hardness measurements. Based on these measurements, the mechanical properties of the investigated ABS nanocomposites were determined.
