Construction and Craft Terminology Dataset (IG Basel Fachtagung 2024)

This dataset is an extract from a larger dataset collecting lexical material from Ancient Greek on the basis of the collection of R. S. P. Beekes (2014) Pre-Greek: Phonology, Morphology, Lexicon. Leiden: Brill, used for a paper given at the 17th Fachtagung of the Indogermanische Gesellschaft in Basel, Switzerland, September 9. – 12. 2024. This dataset collects the material to do with potential substratum loans in the semantic domains of "Equipment and Utensils: Domestic and Craft Tools, Construction: Architecture and Constructional Elements, and Construction: Infrastructure, and the lexemes potentially related to these found elsewhere in the broader dataset. This dataset was created as part of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions postdoctoral fellowship PHILOGLOSSA (MSCA-IF Grant Agreement ID: 101108732) funded by Horizon Europe.
