Primates cerebellum cell atlas

Recent discoveries about the molecular heterogeneity of the cerebellar cortex suggest the existence of functionally divergent subclasses of anatomically defined cell types. Despite the conservation in major cell types across species, there were considerable species-specific variations in transcriptomic patterns exhibiting preferential laminar or regional distributions. Here, we profiled the cerebellum cell atlas of two primates, macaque and marmoset, and investigated the cross-species differences with published mouse cerebellum atlas.
