Dataset of fungi species with genetic data in NCBI, including their earliest associated description details

A list of fungal species recognized within Index Fungorum that are registered in the NCBI database maintaining genomic DNA data for type specimens. The species list follows previously published datasets labelled " A dataset of 144,035 named species of fungi and associated species delimitation data". <br> Each listed species is accompanied by its earliest authorship details, not necessarily the valid authorship for the current name.<br> <br> This data formed part of my MSc thesis research in 2020.
