Source transparency and accuracy warnings for generative-AI answers: anonymized data, code, and materials

This record contains anonymized participant-level and trial-level data, analysis scripts, stimulus materials, a codebook, and supplementary documentation for a randomized online experiment testing whether source transparency and accuracy warnings affect acceptance and verification of generative-AI answers. The study used a 2 × 2 between-subjects design with 800 participants and 19,200 trial-level observations. The materials are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and verification of the analyses reported in the associated manuscript submitted to Scientific Reports.
