Replication Data for: Entrepreneurship under Infrastructural Uncertainty: How Transport–Broadband Complementarity Shapes Venture Formation

The study investigates how staggered rollouts of broadband and transport infrastructure shape new firm entry in the UK. Using postcode–year level panel data, the analysis applies modern difference-in-differences (DiD) estimators to evaluate the causal effects of: Broadband upgrades (Ofcom Connected Nations data, 2024 thresholds) Transport access (Elizabeth line central stations, operational from 2022) The repository includes: Treatment flags: broadband and transport exposure by postcode Event-time identifiers: postcode–year panel with firm births, treatments, and relative timing variables Descriptive tables: summary statistics, means, and counts used in the manuscript Regression outputs: main DiD and event-study estimates Sectoral classification: mapping SIC codes into Knowledge-Intensive Services vs. Manufacturing Station list: Elizabeth line central stations with coordinates and opening dates Reproducibility code (R): preprocessing and DiD estimation scripts Documentation: full README with provenance, licensing, and usage instructions All processed data and scripts are deposited here for transparency and reproducibility.
