These are handwritten lists resulting from stocktakes of stores, tools and equipment at the Rothbury Colliery during its operation by the State. The lists relate to stocks held by the various sections and functions of the colliery, many specific to its peculiar operational status, including: canteen, store, mess tents, doctor's tent, cookhouse, boilerman, recreation tents (miners and police), lavatories and showers, office, cooks and miners camp, staff camp, police camp, weighman's cabin, and the superintendent's house.
