Ecological diversification in an adaptive radiation of plants: the role of de novo mutation and introgression Raw sequence reads

150 bp paired-end Illumina Novaseq data for 18 samples from 7 species in Penstemon subg. Dasanthera. Species include: P. montanus, P. lyallii, P. cardwellii, P. newberryi, P. rupicola, P. davidsonii, and P. fruticosus. The goals of the study were to investigate the evolutionary origin of hummingbird-pollinated flowers and to characterize genome-wide patterns of phylogenetic discordance and introgression in Penstemon subgenus Dasanthera, a small and diverse adaptive radiation of plants.
