资源简介:
This dataset contains estimated GPP (Gross Primary Production), ER (Ecosystem Respiration), and K600 (air-water gas exchange) for 3 Appalachian headwater streams of varying conductivity levels and their associated environmental drivers (daily median discharge and specific conductivity) from summer 2024 - summer 2025. Each estimated parameter has associated model checks (the Gelman–Rubin convergence statistic, R-hat, and the effective sample size, n_eff) that should be used to quality‑check metabolism data and ensure the accuracy of model estimates. One stream (Eastland Creek, VA) is a reference site with low conductivity levels and no mining impact, while the remaining two sites, Frying Pan Creek, VA (MID) and Rickey Branch Creek, VA (HI) have high conductivity levels due to surface mining influence. This dataset can be used to evaluate anthropogenic impact on headwater stream metabolism in the Appalachian region.
