Site Images and Report from Historic Building Recording Works at Mansergh House, Borwick Lane, Borwick, Carnforth, Lancashire, 2021-2022

This collection consists of site images and a report from historic building recording works at Mansergh House, Borwick Lane, Borwick, Carnforth, Lancashire. Works were conducted by Greenlane Archaeology Ltd. between December 2021 and June 2022 in advance of the proposed conversion of a disused coach house to the rear of Mansergh House into ancillary accommodation. The house is thought to be late 18th century and the map evidence shows that the coach house had certainly been built by the middle of the 19th century. While the building is of relatively low significance in itself, its association with the Grade II Listed Mansergh House and associations with the Mansergh Charity make it of more importance locally.
