Neuroprotective effect of ZLXN in different doses based on neurobehavioral scores and ischemic infarct area. The Longa’s neurological scale was applied to evaluate neurobehavioral deficit in ischemia/reperfusion-induced rats; The cerebral slices were divided into five sections. The ischemic infarct area of each section was calculated by ImageJ software. ZLXN promoted mTOR and prohibited Beclin-1 expression in immunochemical staining of MCAO rats. The pathological section of hippocampal CA1 in MCAO rats on 1 week, 2 weeks and 4 weeks after ischemic onset. The rats in ZLXN group were treated with 100 mg/kg ZLXN at 15 min before surgery. The integrated optical density of pathological section was quantified by ImageJ software. ZLXN inhibited LC3 expression in hippocampal tissue of MCAO rats. The grey intensity of protein band was quantified by using the ImageJ software in Western blot assay.
