Dataset of Usability (SUS), Emotional Experience (PANAS), and Eye-Tracking Measures from a Comparative Study of Three Drug Instruction Formats (Printed label, QR, AR) with Older Adults

Description This dataset supports a study that compared three drug instruction formats (printed label, QR code, and augmented reality) for older adults (N = 40, aged 54–73 years). The study measured three types of outcomes: SUS (System Usability Scale): 10-item questionnaire assessing perceived usability of each drug instruction format. PANAS (Positive and Negative Affect Scale): 10-item questionnaire measuring positive and negative emotional responses. Eye-tracking metrics: Total fixation duration in the area of interest (AOI) and time to first fixation, and duration of interval recorded using Tobii Pro Glasses 2. Experimental Design A within-subjects design was employed, with the presentation order of the three conditions counterbalanced by a Latin square. Each participant completed a search task (locating and reading the "usage and dosage" information) using each of the three formats. Task completion time was also recorded.
