Metagenomic Analysis of Microbial Communities in Paddy Soils

This study investigates the structural and functional diversity of soil microbiomes in 48 paddy fields spanning China's primary rice cultivation zones. By leveraging shotgun metagenomic sequencing, we aim to characterize key microbial taxa involved in nutrient cycling. The data provides a spatial atlas of soil microbial ecology in agroecosystems critical to global food security.
