This study's goal is to demonstrate that EVs derived from healthy human dermal fibroblasts carry eccDNA. There is a total of six samples: three derived from human dermal fibroblasts and three derived from extracellular vesicles released from human dermal fibroblasts. All six samples (cells and extracellular vesicles) underwent DNA isolation and eccDNA enrichment through a rolling circle amplification (RCA) protocol. Samples were then sequenced on the Oxford Nanopore MinIon platform.
