NRS-10222 | Bank deposit receipt book [Rothbury State Operated Colliery]

This is a Government issue book of bank deposit forms used to deposit moneys into the Coal Mines Operated by State Government Public Revenue Account at the Bank of New South Wales, Branxton. Each form was in duplicate and, unless the transaction was cancelled, the perforated blue top copy was removed and lodged with the deposit while the white carbon copy remained in the book.The date of deposit and details of cash, cheques, drafts, money orders and postal notes are recorded. Each deposit is confirmed by the application of the Branxton branch stamp.
