Dataset for "External Demand, Domestic Monetary Conditions, and Remittance Dynamics in Nepal"

This dataset contains annual macroeconomic data for Nepal from 1993–2024, used in the study “External Demand, Domestic Monetary Conditions, and Remittance Dynamics in Nepal.” Variables include personal remittances (% of GDP), unemployment, inflation, GDP growth, population, oil prices, exchange rate, GDP series for 12 major migrant destination countries, and domestic monetary-policy indicators. The dataset supports PCA-based index construction, ARDL bounds testing, Engle–Granger cointegration, Dynamic OLS, ECM estimation, Granger causality tests, and forecasting
