Sanguina nivaloides Genome sequencing. Sanguina nivaloides

The goal of this metagenomic sequencing study was to recover the genome of Sanguina nivaloides from a snow mixed community. S. nivaloides is not known to be culturable and is difficult to extract DNA from. Our extraction methods included steps to reduce unadhered members of the snow community and a multiple displacement amplification to increase the recovered DNA.
