资源简介:
This database contains the outputs of the PyPSA-Earth energy system modeling tool, which was used to simulate net-zero emission scenarios by 2050. The dataset includes inputs needed to build a model extracted by an automated data pre-processing workflow, models of the power infrastructure in high spatial resolution, and results of optimisation runs.
The database includes the following parameters:- Total system costs by technology (in billion EUR)- Investment costs by carrier- Electricity prices (EUR/MWh)- Generation mix (TWh)- Total load (TWh)- Installed and optimal capacities by carrier (GW)- Capacity expansion plans (GW)- CO₂ emissions (tCO₂, eq)- Investments needed to reach net-zero by 2050- Investment per CO₂ reduced (EUR/tCO₂)
Each scenario is uniquely identified with a format of {countrycode}{horizon}_{version}.
This structured dataset supports interactive visualizations for comparing current energy infrastructure with future scenarios, enabling informed decision-making toward a 100% renewable energy system. All data and methodologies are open-source and reproducible, following Open Energy Transition's principles of transparency in global energy transition research.
