This User’s Guide is a major update ofNOAA Technical Report 44, Educator's Guide for Building and Operating Environmental Satellite Receiving Stations, originally published in 1989, and reprinted in 1992. There have been great changes in the technology and availability of receiving equipment as well as changes to the NOAA operated satellites.
