This project aimed at assessing the diversity of symbionts associated with siboglinid tubeworms in the Arctic. Samples from two species were collected from different sites in the Norwegian waters and the diversity of the bacteria associated with their trophosome (symbiont-hosting tissues) was assessed through metabarcoding of the V3-V4 variable regions.
