Junction Deposit Carbonate Study Images

Images of replacement microstructures in carbonates from the Junction gold deposit near Kambalda in the Yilgarn Craton, Western Australia. Images show relationships between phases as calcite is replaced by dolomite and siderite. Included are the raw images as well as a full sized stitched version, a reduced resolution stitched image and a contrast adjusted image that shows variations in the back scattered electron response of both the siderite, and dolomite and calcite.\n\n\nLineage: Data were collected and stitched using the Bruker Esprit software. The phases in the contrast adjusted image were separated, adjusted and restitched using GIMP 2. \n\nThe data were collected from sample 250 as described in Polito et al.
