FUNCTIONAL CHANGES IN THE HORMONAL SYSTEM OF FEMALE PATIENTS WITH NEURODERMATITIS UNDERGOING ACUPUNCTURE THERAPY
收藏资源简介:
The present study revealed that during the exacerbation phase of neurodermatitis, the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle in all female patients is characterized by low blood levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) and estradiol, while the luteal phase is marked by a low concentration of LH. During the clinical remission of the disease, pronounced hypoestrogenism persisted in the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle across all patients. The obtained data indicate the presence of pituitary-ovarian axis dysfunction in patients with neurodermatitis, manifesting as an insufficiency of both the ovarian follicular apparatus and the luteal phase. Furthermore, a deficiency in the regulatory mechanisms of steroidogenesis was observed in both phases of the menstrual cycle.
