PREVALENCE AND ASSOCIATED FACTORS OF SELF-MEDICATION WITH ANTIBIOTICS AMONG HEALTH SCIENCE STUDENTS AT CITYCOT UNIVERSITY, BOSASO, PUNTLAND, SOMALIA: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY

This dataset supports the study entitled “Prevalence and Associated Factors of Self-Medication with Antibiotics among Health Science Students at Citycot University, Bosaso, Puntland, Somalia: A Cross-Sectional Study.” The study included 200 third- and fourth-year health science students, with data collected from 5 April to 5 May 2026. The repository contains de-identified data in CSV and Stata formats, a codebook and data dictionary, the study questionnaire, a README file, and the Stata analysis do-file. The dataset includes socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge of antibiotics and antimicrobial resistance, accessibility of antibiotics, attitudes, and self-medication practices.
