Peter Zumthor is a Swiss architect. He founded his own firm in 1979, and quickly became known for a minimalist, modernist designs. Some of his work includes the Kunsthaus Bregenz, a concrete and glass structure on the shores of Lake Constance in Austria, and the thermal baths in Vals, Switzerland.
