CAISO MEF/AEF 2019-2020

This data repository is accompanied by the manuscript titled "A data-driven framework for quantifying consumption-based monthly and hourly marginal emissions factors" submitted to the Journal of Cleaner Production. The dataset covers the regression results for the average emissions factors (AEF) and marginal emissions factors (MEF) for the California ISO grid for the years 2019 and 2020. MEFs and AEFs are reported for different regressed demand levels, as well as at month-hour levels independently for each year. Statistical values such as number of datapoints, coefficients of determination (R squared), and P values are reported as well. For methodology details and applications, please refer to the manuscript.
