资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Fan and Wet Towel Cooling Maintain Intermittent Running Performance During the Second Half of Simulated Football in Hot Conditions." The data were collected from ten amateur football players during three experimental sessions under hot environmental conditions (30–31ºC; 41–45% RH). Each player participated in a randomized crossover trial testing three halftime interventions: Fan cooling, Wet Towel cooling, and Control (no cooling). Performance was assessed using the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Level 1 (Yo-Yo IR1) test, repeated sprints, and countermovement jump (CMJ) before and after each half. Physiological and perceptual variables—including heart rate, skin, ear and forehead temperature, sweating rate, hydration status, and thermal sensation—were measured at multiple time points. The data are presented as raw values for each participant and condition, including all measurement points throughout the protocol. These data support the conclusions of the associated manuscript and are intended to facilitate reproducibility and meta-analyses in sports science and thermoregulation research. Keywords: Football, Heat Stress, Cooling Strategies, Intermittent Exercise, Performance, Thermoregulation, Skin Temperature, Perceptual Responses, Physiology, Datase<br>
