In this study, the transcriptional response of two mungbean genotypes to mungbean yellow mosaic virus infection was analysed by RNA-Seq. The two genotypes, VGGRU-1 and VRM (Gg) 1, were selected after agroinoculation screenings as the resistant and susceptible to MYMV, respectively. Our study identified genes involved in mungbean resistance to MYMV and may contribute in a deeper understanding of the mungbean-MYMV interaction.
