Biogeography of soil fungal assemblages from Carex curvula meadows: teasing apart ecological and neutral factors. FODYSSEE

The processes that have shaped soil fungal large-scale patterns of beta-diversity remain obscure. To tease apart the effects of biogeographical history from those of abiotic filtering and biotic interactions, we have studied the mycobiome of alpine meadows dominated by Carex curvula through the entire European Alpine System. Owing to the enginnering capacity of this plant and its narrow habitat, we expected to maximise the effects of biogeographical history, while minimizing those of the local environment. This entry contains the reads of soils from Carex curvula meadows of the European alpine system.
